Description: Time lapse oil painting of a surrealist classical scene depicting monuments and lady justice or "Themis" | Known as the divine goddess of justice, "Themis" is my own representation of fairness in the debate of monuments. More specifically, on the subject of whether religious monuments should be erected on public grounds. The monuments that Themis holds opposing one another are one of the Satanic Temple and another of the Christian Church. Both are located on public lands and as a result, the government pays for the upkeep of these monuments.
